Packages

Ibis Express Shipping Ltd will not be held responsible for the following:

– Packages in transit to the warehouse in Miami

— For example, packages lost in the mail or misdelivered by the courier service chosen to deliver your package, this must be taken up with the courier service or supplier.

– Packages delivered damaged or short of items must also be taken up with supplier

– Loss of packages due to incorrect address and labelling

– Packages without the Box # will have a delay in processing and the tracking information must be sent via email to ibisskybox@gmail.com for retrieval

– Package weight will be rounded up to the next LB and charged per Lb

Commodities

Ibis Express Shipping Ltd does not ship the following items:

– Hazardous or Flammable Material. Aerosols, Fuels, Gases

– Plant seeds

– Frozen food items

– Firearms, tasers and other illegal substances

– Camouflage clothing and accessories with the said print

Hazmat items (Hazardous Materials)

Ibis Express Shipping Ltd will ship approved hazmat items:

– All items considered as Hazmat by the US Federal Aviation will require additional paperwork

and a special flight will be organized once a month by Ibis.

Flight and Clearance

Ibis Express Shipping Ltd will not be held responsible for the following:

– Delays in flight arrival

– Delays in Customs approval for clearance of cargo

– The customer is responsible for sending an invoice for all packages to present to customs at the time of clearance, failure to do so Customs will place a value. Customs can uplift values on an invoice presented, Ibis Express will not be held responsible for the charges imposed by customs.

– Some items may require further approvals from Trinidad and Tobago authoritative bodies causing delays in receiving your package e.g. Food and Drug Approval, Aviation Approvals.

– Delays due to cargo bonded by Customs for further documentation or for an entry

– Packages over the USD $2500 threshold will require a broker for clearance, which can be arranged by the customer or through IBIS at an additional fee

Package Collection and Delivery

– The customer should make every attempt to collect and pay for their package promptly upon arrival or delivery.

– Packages are to be collected within 15 days of arrival, invoice sent, and customer contacted.

– Packages unpaid for, will be sold to obtain the amounts spent in bringing in the package after three months

– Drivers cannot be expected to wait for an extended period until the customer becomes available, delivery will be rescheduled or can be collected at the office

– The customer is responsible for transporting all items into their premises.

– Ibis does not deliver to areas deemed unsafe and drivers reserve the right to not go into an area but will make an alternative meeting point for delivery.

– Delivery to Far South – Some rural areas may not be within our delivery area. You can contact us for advice.

Rates

– General Rate increases may be implemented where necessary. All updated rates would be reflected on our website and calculator.
